A bus driver with mental disability challenges friends and law to save a special child’s life.

Cristoforo, an imposing man, has a mild intellectual disability. He lives in a remote border valley where he drives a bus that connects Italy to France. He helps with migrant’s expulsion by sending warning texts to the guards.

His life changes drastically when he accidentally kills a migrant.

His so-called friends exploit his guilt and physical strength to organize human trafficking operations.

When an albino child becomes involved, Cristoforo, struck by her innocence, decides to rebel.
Cristoforo finds peace in prison, but the tragic cycle of violence and redemption has to be closed.
